Daniel Cooney Fine Art is a contemporary art gallery in New York City specializing in photographs and illustration. We opened our first office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in August, 2003 and in June of 2004 we relocated to the Chelsea District of Manhattan. Our goal is to exhibit emerging and under recognized artists and to further the career of the select group of artists that we represent. We are dedicated to making both primary and secondary market material available to the collecting community at affordable prices. We seek to represent artists that are beginning their journey as art makers or artists that have committed their lives to their work but have not exhibited extensively. The artists we represent are varied and approach the process of art making differently. The key element that all of our artist’s posses is a maturity, sincerity and dedication to their work and their lives as artists. We pursue many avenues to ensure the success of the artists and the gallery. We work with many important private, public and corporate collections in addition to art consultants and our fellow dealers. Additionally, we conduct online auctions of secondary market material in partnership with iGavel.com so that we can better support the exhibition schedule at the gallery.
